Ingredients:

  • 33/4cups milk
  • 6tbsp. sugar
  • A pinch of citric acid, mixed with 2 tbsp. water
  • 1/2tsp saffron strands
  • 1tsp. corn flour
  • 1/2tsp green cardamom seeds (ground)
  • 1tsp almonds (flaked)
  • 1tsp. pistachios (flaked)

Preparation:

  • Boil the milk until it is reduced to half.
  • Add sugar and boil for another 5 minutes.
  • Now add the citric acid mixture gradually, until the milk curdles a little.
  • Then add the saffron and corn flour to the milk.
  • reduce the heat and go on cooking ,constantly stirring until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan clean.
  • Add cardamom powder and mix well. Allow it to cool.
  • Make ping-pong size balls of the mixture.
  • Decorate with nuts and serve.
