II  Mushroom Masala  II


  • 1/2 kg. Mushrooms
  • 2 Onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp. fresh corriander, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp. Garlic paste
  • 1 Tomato, chopped
  • 3 tbsp. Oil

Preperation :

  • Cut Mushrooms in slices.
  • Heat oil  and fry onions until golden brown in colour.
  • Add garlic paste and chopped tomatoes.
  • Put chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala and salt. Saute for 3-4 min. or until it starts leaving oil.
  • Add mushrooms and mix well. Simmer the heat and cook till mushrooms are tender. Add very little water, if necessary.
  • Serve garnished with coriander.
